Duty cycle — not brand — is what predicts how a truck's electrical and aftertreatment systems fail.

## Freight & logistics

### Regional & long-haul freight

Tractors and dry vans running scheduled lanes.

High-mileage units where a single roadside failure costs a load and a delivery window. Availability matters more than the ticket price of any one repair.

Typical pattern: Aftertreatment and injector wear from sustained highway duty, plus trailer lighting and ABS write-ups.

### Refrigerated transport

Reefer trailers where the load is the liability.

A refrigeration failure is a claim, not an inconvenience. We cover the tractor, the trailer and the reefer unit on one dispatch.

Typical pattern: Reefer start failures, setpoint and alarm faults, and trailer power supply problems.

### Final mile & delivery

Box trucks and vans on dense urban routes.

Constant stop-start work in Metro ATL traffic. These units rarely reach the operating temperatures their emissions systems were designed around.

Typical pattern: Incomplete regens, repeat derates, battery and starter wear from high cycle counts.

## Vocational & heavy duty

### Construction & aggregates

Dump trucks, mixers and jobsite equipment.

Machines that cannot easily be driven to a shop. We work at the site so the crew is not waiting on a transport.

Typical pattern: Vibration-related electrical faults, air system leaks, cooling and hydraulic heat load.

### Towing & recovery

Wreckers that idle on scene, then run heavy.

An unusual duty cycle: long idle periods followed by maximum load. Hard on charging systems and aftertreatment alike.

Typical pattern: Charging system strain, extended idle regen failures, PTO electrical faults.

### Refuse & recycling

Packer cycles all day, never reaching temperature.

The hardest duty cycle in the industry for emissions equipment, with hundreds of start-stop events per shift.

Typical pattern: Chronic regen failure, DPF loading, starter and battery replacement intervals.

### Utility & line restoration

Bucket trucks and storm fleets with zero downtime tolerance.

When a storm rolls through, availability is the entire job. PTO-heavy operation with sensitive electrical loads.

Typical pattern: PTO and hydraulic electrical faults, auxiliary power draw, charging capacity.

## Passenger & specialty

### Motorcoach & transit

Passenger vehicles where a breakdown is a stranded group.

Coaches and shuttles carrying passengers on schedule. Comfort systems matter as much as driveline reliability.

Typical pattern: A/C and climate faults, door and body electrical, aftertreatment on transit duty.

### Landscaping & field services

Mixed light and medium fleets on daily routes.

Smaller mixed fleets where one truck out of service is a meaningful percentage of the day's capacity.

Typical pattern: Trailer wiring, brake controllers, charging systems on high-accessory vehicles.

### Owner-operators

One truck, and it has to run.

A single unit is the whole business. We give a straight diagnosis and an honest call on what has to be fixed now versus what can wait.

Typical pattern: Deferred maintenance catching up, aftertreatment, injector and turbo wear.
